How do I play?

One phone is the DJ and plays the music. A song plays, everyone shouts out what it is, and the DJ taps who got it first. That player places the song on their timeline by year. Right spot, they keep it. First to 5 or 10 songs wins. Tap the ? on the home screen for the full rules.

My friends can't join

Everyone must be on the same Wi-Fi as the DJ's phone, with Songology open on it. The DJ's phone must allow Local Network access: Settings → Privacy & Security → Local Network → Songology.

How do I show the game on my TV?

On the DJ's phone, open Control Center, tap Screen Mirroring and pick your Apple TV or AirPlay TV. Songology then shows its own TV screen, not a copy of your phone.

Why do songs only play for 30 seconds?

Without Apple Music, Songology plays Apple's 30-second previews. With an Apple Music membership on the DJ's phone, every song plays in full. Allow Apple Music access when asked, or in Settings → Songology.
